These are societies to which I've had an active membership (i.e. attend the majority of events) shown for the range over which I had an active membership. There are other societies which I'm part of passively or only semi-actively such as discussion groups or have only attended a couple of events for (e.g. MAS, Chess Club, MLS, etc).
